UTN1 (Unknown To No One): the pop-rock band from Baghdad since 1999. Today four members in three cities, still one band.
The band
UTN1 (Unknown To No One) is a pop-rock band from Baghdad. Two friends started it in the winter of 1999.
Today we are four: Akhlad, Hassan, Shant and Art, still one band, and still releasing new music.
What we play
Iraqi pop-rock in Arabic and English, and heritage songs in new clothes.
Where we are
Between Washington DC, Stockholm and Baghdad.
The story so far
War, years abroad and the road through Amman, London, Beirut, Washington and Sweden never stopped the songs.
The whole story, from Baghdad in 1999 to today, is on the Story page.
